Hi Bob getting really confused, offer is coming tomorrow, solicitor said they will send him a copy so don't worry about sending him a signed copy!!?? I think I will just do what the bank say to do, which is sign it and send him a copy.

Your solicitor doesn't seem helpful in unconfusing you.... Do what the banks says.

Hi, we did a full online application over the phone with Natwest who are part of the RBS group.

We got the letter saying we had been provissionally approved for £150k mortgage,
They asked me to sign the "Giving agreement form" & to send my latest payslip to verify earnings also to sign the DD mandate,

Is that all they normally do ? or should i expect them to ask for more documents?
trying to get a feel to how long it takes also... thanks

When applying for the mortgage they took direct debit detail, debit card payments for the fees and valuation etc.

When applying for the mortgage they took direct debit detail, debit card payments for the fees and valuation etc.

After they check your payslips etc, they will arrange the survey. Keep in touch with them for progress, the staff are very efficient and friendly and don't mind answering anything or how many times you call !!.

Keep looking at your bank ac they will take the survey and mortgage fees generally on the day the book the survey. Our surveyor came from Connells, but they also use Countrywide.
Survey valuation reported on same day as survey to them and offer was confirmed about 3 days later by phone to check details. Offer sent out that day, and we received it the next and so did our solicitor.

    good luck!!

So you got the original request for proof of income "payslips" along with the giving agreement form and wasnt asked for anything else?

Thanks, its our daughter and SIL that have applied, they are first timers, so have been helping them.
Copy bank statements for 3 months at same time as the other stuff you When did you send off the stuff??
If you are worried about credit check they did this at same time as telephone application while they were on the phone and told them it was OK.

TBH I think that they would ask you for all the docs they needed after the telephone application. Is there any in particular you are thinking of??

To confirm the process so far has been

    1) Full application completed over the phone day1
    2) Letter to confirm AIP and to request salary slips + sign agreement form day2
    3) Original documents returned back day4
    4) Surveyor instructed day6

Was also told the mortgage had been fully approved just the valuation to consider.
