What type of car is it?

It's not unusual for 2 seater sports cars like a Porsche Boxter to change hands once a year. Someone has fun with it for a while and then changes back to something cheaper and more practical before they loose too much money on the Porsche.
Need to know why the change of owners before dismissing it.

According to the report I commisioned on a car I am looking at. Not a fancy one, no reason for it to be in huge demand, but then not a renowned duffer of a make/model either.

Not in depth yet, just a basic check.

    Cause for major concern?

I guess it depends exactly who those 7 owners were I guess, maybe a company change of name, employee bought from his own company etc....

    Any thoughts?

Problem solved, it has gone to someone else.

I have however found a newer, cheaper model with less mileage and only two previous owners.

    Thanks anyway.

Out of interest what kind of car was it?

I wouldn't be surprised if it were a luxury car (S Class, 7 series) or a large premium SUV or sportscar. People tend to buy them when they are more "affordable" and find that after a few weeks they can't afford to keep it running so they sell them off.

Id say no reason for it to have so many owners then, good thing is its a popular and reliable model so shouldnt be to hard to find another.
If it doesnt pay rent sell it.
