help - unusual wedding favours

friends of ours had a note on everyone's place setting saying they were not doing favours but donating the money to a South African childrens charity (he is SA & they were moving there), it went in to detail on what the money would used for. Ontop of the note was a porcupine quill so we did all have something to take home.

I am now having favour gift bags with lots of bits in, for the ladies I am getting favours from LUSH they start at £1.50 per favour and decorate them in the colours of your wedding I can forward the email she sent to me if you like it has pics of the favours, I contacted her through the website, I am also having bottles of wine and chocolates in the little boxes I made, I dont have many guests and they are coming quite a way so wanted to get them all a treat0

We had charity pin badges for our favours, The men had a Macmillan Cancer pin badge as my hubby's choice of charity. The ladies had a Children's hospice pin badge as my choice of charity. We also had fortune cookies to kind of break the ice with people at the tables.0

You can also get a girlie (sp?) tin to match the tuxedo ones.....

I love the Cinderella carriages! Not sure OH will be mad keen on them but maybe if I just produce them on the day...??? LOL!I like the tuxedo tins too, nice idea for men! I really wanted to get personalised M&Ms to go in my favour boxes but they don't ship them to the UK
Maybe they'll have changed their policy by the time I get married! Fingers crossed! Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
