3 renewal offer
I've been offered direct from 3 without any redemptions etc the following
either 6280, v3x or lg880
on twelve months, 3 months half price, 3 months full price and the £94 credit (effectivrly 3 months free +£4 ? ) on a £30 /month contract
or on 18 months, 6 months half price, 6 months full and then £150.12 credit (5 months free) on the same £30 contract 500 mins + 100 texts
...and they'd unlock my current phone - 6680 - so my wife could have it
this structure has been offered across all their tariffs to me and I can upgrade now and my contract doesn't expire until May.
Must be a good deal surely??? Worth considering for anyone due to update on three.
Whats everyone opinion??? I would like to get the new Sony that replaces the P910 or a good P910 deal if anyone knows f any or when the replacement (P990 i believe) is due.
Cheers for help, everyopne and post away

On the surface, looks like a good deal - ifg you are happy with the phone s that you are being offered.
Remember, the redemption deals offer great contracts, but 'average' phones - so you are effectivey payingthe extra for the new style phone.
Personally, the redemption deal phones suffice for what I need.
See if you can get the upgrade AND ask for another concession on the line rental? It seems as though providers are desperate to hold on to customers.
Good luck harra:)0 -
any more adice anyone
on the topic of redemption, i got the current phone 6680 when they were first released and the height of popularity, on redemption, so you can still get good deals with good phones. would really like another sony tho.0 -
I got the Nok 6280 on that contract (works out at £18 a month overall for me) with 3.
Great little phone, great deal. I'm happy with it.

Monthly ave around £18, this is what they are offering on pland with 400/500 mins on upgrades that I have heard about, it's a good deal considering you don't have to go through the cashback process and get a good new phone.harra wrote:on twelve months, 3 months half price, 3 months full price and the £94 credit (effectivrly 3 months free +£4 ? ) on a £30 /month contract
Just be clear with them that your new 12 month contract starts now, as I know someone who has gone for an upgrade with a Nokia 6280 and has been sent the phone now but the new 12 month contract starts a day after his existing contract ends near the end of April.harra wrote:this structure has been offered across all their tariffs to me and I can upgrade now and my contract doesn't expire until May.Nearly debt free
