Change Line providers

I am with Tiscali for my phone and landline and I want to change. I have been looking around at phone line suppliers, but they all sound as bad as BT.

I was interested in the Post Office then I read bad things about their service I did try to sign up but he said as your not on a BT Line I need to charge you £119 to replace the line..

Anyone give me some idea of a good phone line supplier?

I dont touch Sky so they are out. I dont want to change Broadband supplier as my company is fantastic. I just want my Line away from Tiscali as I dont want to be without a line when they go under.
