My parents have been with UK Online on the 1MB service @ £9.99 per month without any problems since September 2005. Therefore I've also signed up with the same deal with them today. If someone recommends you, you both get one month free.

I was with AOL for some time, and I have to say that they were OK til I moved house, when it all went horribly wrong, so consequently sacked them.

I then signed up to the Demon package the OP mentions - and I have to say I have never encountered a sorrier shower of incompetence. Suffice to say that they lied every step of the way, failed to connect me, charged a fortune to ring the tech support line - staffed by people who were very difficult to understand due to their poor english and negligible technological expertise.

I would avoid both like the plague.

Oh Bulldog, Bulldog Bulldog.... Be careful of this company!!!

We are new customers, our bill has shot up from (£55 average per month) to £80+ per month and I darent even use the blumming phone! My call costs for the month were less than a fiver! trying to get CS is a nightmare, and complaints only deal with erm, complaints at 28 days!!!!!

And the internet connections drops about 20 times a day!

I could cry with this company! So beware

I'm with Pipex, been with them 3 years now..

    No problems at all.

I recently moved house and signed back up with them at my new address.

*If you are to cancel with Pipex (before the 12 months) you only have to pay 3 months connection fee and not the remainding months.
I would have used my own initiative if someone would have told me to!
