No, I don't think so, that is what the slc is for. Alternatively, consider the OU- you would get some assistance for that.:jMummy to 2 small 4 year old bundles of mischief!:j0

I too recommend the OU but financial help is based on household rather than individual income.
The OP should look at the conditions for paying back a student loan; surely earning £20,000 and paying back £40 per month (just as an example) must be better than only earning £4,000?0 -

Yes you can get government help to study full time it is called a student loan. If there was a way round it we would all be doing it.2009 wins: Cadburys Chocolate Pack x 6, Sally Hansen Hand cream, Ipod nano! mothers day meal at Toby Carvery! :j :j :j :j0 -
I always thought the OU is awash with money for student grants/loans?Be happy, it's the greatest wealth0

Even of you get help don't underestimate the costs of re-entering education and make sure it is really what you want to do. One of the reasons I pulled out 18 months ago was because I could see the recession looming and needed to manage my business interests. My reason for rtning was more as a hobby than to further my career. It turned out to be the most expensive mistake I have ever made.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
