Turn on the pc WITHOUT the monitor being attached and leave it for 10 mins THEN plug it in (And keep on eye on it for resetting):idea:0

Looks like it's been my US Robotics wireless usb that has caused the fault. Been up and running now for 20 mins and everything is good,so far!
