Sounds like overheating.0

Can you just check in:
My Computer > Properties > Advanced > Startup and Recovery > Settings > Startup and Recovery and see if there is a check mark in the box next to Automatically restart?
If there is, uncheck it.0 -
My money is on the CPU Fan (could also be poor RAM module seating so I would have that in and out while I was at it)0

I brought it into work today to ask my tech guy, he has been running it for about an hour on the BIOS. He tells me that if it doesn't crash then it points to software and not hardware.
Seems pretty weird as i don't remeber installing anything unusual other than standard stuff.
Would still suspect overheating, in BIOS my guess would be less overheads on the processor which may be enough to allow it to keep running. If still having problems try removing dust build up around cooling fans and running with side off to see if this helps, could also consider reapplying artic silver to processor/heat sink0 -

So if there is any kind of error message generated you can read it.0 -
There could be a possibility that its getting too hot -- Could try taking the side off and having a look and blowing any dirt out of the case & heatsink fins -- dave
I agree, happened to a friends PC. I took the side off, used a small paintbrush and removed the huge gobs of dust on the fan and gently hoovered it away. Pc was immediately OK.0 -
You're better off using Airdusters on the innards of a computer as brushes and vacuums all can damage the components with static electricity.0

Ok guys i took on everyones advice.
I ran the pc at work, everything ok no crashes nothing. Ran a full system check, no problems found.
To clarify i cleaned out the dust(not alot), changed the BIOS from quiet fan(1500rpm) to always on(4500rpm) to eliminate build up of heat. The autorestart check box was already unchecked
I connected it back up at home, same problem. This time i get a blue screen message telling me of a hardware problem. The only hardware that i wasn't using at work that i use at home is my wireless usb stick and my monitor.
I have now put in a wireless pc card to eliminate the wireless usb.
I took a video of what happens on my phone. If someone can point me in the right direction of how i upload the video i can show you what is happening.
