Oh Geri I hope they can help, My dog had cancer last year luckily it was found in time and she had an op to remove 3 cancers. She's been fine ever since

I don't think so, he didn't mention surgery as an option and I think he said it had spread. She also has some fluid in her chest, whatever that means. I was in shock so can't remember exactly.
He has given her a lot of drugs to try and stop it getting any worse. He said we should keep our eye on her and if she gets any worse then the kindest thing to do would be to have her put to sleep.
She was quite poorly yesterday because of the drugs, but she is a bit brighter today - although still not her usual self.0 -

He IS my little boy!
Anyway the vet finally called me hust after 7PM, I was going crazy by then.
The operation went splendid and they will be keeping a close eye on him through the night!
Thing is, when he "went in" they found a very serious bruise about 4 inches above the fracture. The vet says it is consistent with an attach from a larger animal, just as a dog, except there are no bites. It screams to me like some scum of the earth has maybe kicked him!

When my cat was 11 weeks old, he jumped out of a third floor window, 30ft drop
Thanks for that, our two are obsessed wiht open windows... now I know they are definitely stupid enough to jump out!My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -

Glad it went well. Don't stress yourself out thinking about what might have happened, because you'll never know. Just be thankful that he has pulled through and will be coming back to you.0 -
Thanks, I got so stressed yesterday I chipped my tooth! Can you believe it?
