DD :hello: I saw you were back
:heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -
Hiya DD, lovely to see you back!
I've been doing CD 5 or 6 weeks I think and have lost just over a stone, which is good, but it really should have been quite a bit more. It's habit rather than hunger that makes me cheat though. Every time I cook for the kids, I can't help nibbling, which then takes me out of ketosis, so I feel rubbish, so I want to eat more. I'm my own worst enemy, and I think I do have some sort of mental block about being slim.
I keep deciding to stop doing CD, but then tonight, I've been chatting to my date, and I'm sitting here feeling really fat and bloated even though I've eaten healthily today, and I panic and think I really wish I'd stuck to it better, because I could be at least half a stone lighter by now, and maybe then he would find me more attractive. That's possibly just first date nerves though because I fancy him so damn much!!!
I'll try my best to be 100% tomorrow - I'm going to be busy, which always makes it a bit easier, and having my hair cut will hopefully boost my confidence a bit."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
A stone in 6 weeks is pretty amazing however it is achieved! (Well - not starvation obviously but you know what I mean
) Mind you I sympathise with picking at the kids dinners - if Elliot refuses something I just cannot put it in the bin without at least some of it being eaten
Snaggles did I or did I not read that you fit into size 12 jeans - then you are not bloody fat and I am sure he will find you gorgeous if he is lucky enough to get that close
Actually a 14 is not bloody fat either, I'd kill to be back in my 14s...
<sigh> would love to go on a date (should add with OH, probably
) I hope you have a fab time, are you going for drinks, a meal...?
:T for hair cuts, I am getting mine done tomorrow as it currently resembles a hedge

Well, I managed to put a pair on, and fasten them...but I wouldn't have liked to sit down!! :rotfl:
I'm only 5'3, so I could easily lose another 2 stones without starting to look skinny, but overall, my weight has been gradually reducing over the last few years, and I'm 2.5 stones less than I was at my heaviest. Just don't want it to take another 4 or 5 years to get to where I want to be!
I HOPE he is lucky enough to get that close
but not on Saturday of course, first date and all!

I WILL stick to the diet today, I WILL, I WILL!!!
I've had the first of three 75cl bottles of water, and not feeling the urge to nibble at all so far. :T
Come ooooooooooon!!!"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
how's your cough Snags? I asked the pharmacist and she sold me some Robitussin and it is good (although I haven't had any today and I've started coughing again!)

It's absolutely horrible, seems to have got worse rather than better and if it's still like this on Saturday, there's no way I can go on a date.

I don't feel ill, but I'm coughing almost constantly. Trying to drink water, speak as little as possible, and I've bought some Covonia for dry, tickly coughs but it doesn't seem to have touched it.
Will try Robitussin tomorrow if it's no better, thanks.

Could be asthma induced hayfever, that can cause coughing. Have a quick word with a pharmacist but Robitussin is safe for asthmatics too.No longer using this account for new posts from 20130
