Ooooooops, well it's been a while since I updated this hasn't it!!

Financially things have been sort of ticking along, I've had to use some of my savings to sort my car out (£250 and counting....), and I've slipped into spendaholic mode a couple of times, but generally things are fairly stable.

I completed my Race for Life the weekend before last - didn't do very well at timing it but think it might have been somewhere around the 35/36 minute mark, so I'm really pleased with that.

Finally went on a date with CAG, who is completely lovely, but although I liked him a lot, I didn't feel any spark, and I think we sill be friends rather than anything more.

I'm going on a date on Saturday though which I'm very excited about, he seems virtually perfect, lol, which no doubt means he will have some deep-seated psychological issue or something! He's Dutch but has lived in Manchester for the last 13 years, and speaks 5 languages fluently.....*sigh* :)

I also have a coffee date on Sunday but I hae doubts about going and might cancel.

The kids are fab, both seem happy, although Natasha, in true 'terrible two' tradition, has become a stroppy little madam overnight! She's a star though, and so funny with it, that I can't get cross.

And that's about it, my life in a few paragraphs! :rotfl:

As well as keeping track of my finances and other random life stuff on here, I'm going to keep track of my CD on here too if no-one minds. The CD thread is great, but for some reason reading it makes me hungry! :) So I will still pop in there to cheer the lovely peeps on every so often, but my challenge for the next 10 days is to be as good as possible on the diet, so I'm going to confess any cheating on here. Hopefully that will make me stop and think before I nibble.

I've done well today - 100% - but I haven't drunk enough water. Still a great start to the week though.

Need to look my best for Saturday, I've had a looooooong phone conversation with my date tonight, and I really like him! :T :T

Okay, CD so far today not going great - have had a strawberry shake and one glass of water, but have also had a bit of turkey, a bit of cheese and a few mini cheddars. :wall:

    Rubbish - pah!!

No more cheating today for me!!!

Will do an unofficial weigh in on Thursday and see if I can scare myself into having a 100% week before my CDC comes back off her holidays!

Car being repaired tomorrow - hopefully it's not going to be as expensive as I expected, and touch wood, that's all the repair work done (for now ).

    Morning!

My car is going in for (hopefully) its last lot of repairs this morning, keeping my fingers crossed that it will be less than the £250 originally quoted, as the part needed turned out to be less expensive....just don't know how much the labour costs will be.

My mechanic collects the car from work, takes it to his garage, fixes it, and brings it back to work in time for home time, which is FAB :T except that I forgot I'm not at work today.

So Ryan is going to school, Natasha is going to nursery, I'll drop my car off at work, and catch the free shuttle bus into Leeds for a bit of retail therapy (window shopping only, of course! ;)).

As I'm still doing CD, it should be a cheap day, as I wont even need lunch! I do really need to make a hair appointment for tomorrow though, because although I dyed it a couple of days ago, and the colour is looking quite nice, it's rather flat and lifeless, and I want it to look good on Saturday! :D

So, as I was saying, it SHOULD have been a cheap day...... :rotfl:

Actually, it wasn't too bad, although I did forget to have my porridge and also forgot to take my shake, so was FORCED to eat a crayfish and rocket salad from Pret, and buy a bottle of water.

Then I came home and had quorn chilli for dinner. So all in all, a completely rubbish CD day, but a good 'normal, healthy diet' day.

I'm debating coming off CD altogether. In fact, I'm almost convinced I should, for the next couple of weeks at least, and then maybe start again post-Leeds.

But I'm worried about what my CDC will say - feel like I'm chickening out before I've got to my target. But then if I'm not losing much anyway, there's no point paying £35 a week for the priviledge.

Hi Snaggles! I didn't even know you had a diary :o shows how long it's been and how much of a kick I need!

Sounds like you are doing brilliantly :)

How long have you been doing CD? I am debating starting next month if I can make the budget work. The baby weight ain't shifting on it's own, and the baby isn't much of a baby anymore :rotfl:

Oh well done on your 5K btw :T
