Absolutely. I thought the only thing necessary for you to be 'accepted' was for you to pay their monthly fees, which I have refused to do on several occasions. Luckily they have stopped asking.

not sure what all the fuss is bout really, the benefits can be sourced far more cheaply elsewhere. I used to be a gold customer until i had an account meeting with someone there, who basically told me that i didn't really need it and that i was wasting my money - i had to agree with her

I think it must be something to do with credit rating as my mum and dad had a Lloyds TSB Platinum account with some stupid overdraft limit, plus mum had platinum credit card and loan and their only income is pension and benefits but they were offered that account straight away.

That sounds more like LTSB's internal scoring. The same one that a few years back could have enabled me to have both a £10K credit card, 0% on transfers (no fee, thankyouverymuch I'll be stoozing that) and (how I don't know) a £10K overdraft.
    Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries

I was told on the phone last night that it was externally scored only (which I think is b*llocks). Probably to sell me PrivacyGuard ....
I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂
