Broken iPhone - help!

Today my iPhone stopped working. It just wouldn't turn on. I called Apple, and we tried different stuff, nothing worked.
So tomorrow I have to take it to an Apple Store to hopefully get a replacement.
My issue is that about 3 months ago I DROPPED my iPhone, and now it has a small scrape/scratch on the chrome bit of the casing around the edge (not the screen). The phone worked FINE after it was dropped; there were no problems at all.
I'm just worried that tomorrow they will see the scratch, assume I dropped it and that's what broke it, and refuse to replace it on grounds of "accidental damage".
Any advice for me?? Thanks

There could be hundreds of reasons why it is marked. Whilst they could indeed say that I feel that there might be a little bit of paranoia on your part?0

Yeah, you're probably right. I am paranoid! But it does look like I dropped it and that's what broke it, the scratch is more like a "scrape" and obviously would fall under accidental damage. There could be hundreds of reasons why it is marked. It'll go by any internal damage found, not external (assuming the display still works). You should be OK!0

More likely to be a software fault then hopefully. They'll probally flash the software to try and fix it. Phones do take a bit of wear and tear, better to take it in than worry and let it sit in a drawer.oceanscape wrote: »Well it turns on and I just get a white screen?!0
