icing help ( pleaseeeee)

hi can i make icing with caster suger?? if so how and how will it affect the consistancy. i want to do it in a swirly dollop shape .

    nope you need icing sugar ;) caster sugar is just the same as ordinary sugar only finer hope this helps:beer:

    if you have a food processer you can put the caster sugar into that with the blade and it should go into a powder that should make icing sugar

    A bamix blender will convert sugar to icing sugar, so maybe other blenders would. Or it's very similar to a coffee grinder, if that helps. Here you go, he's using a blender. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPmLJqk_lHM

    tb beat me to it. For a swirly shape buttercream would be good.
