  • Thanks, sofa_surfer - I've sent them a message this morning, so will update when I hear back (or get a letter, or better still find £100 in my account!).

    I have this too ....

    07 Jul 2009Transfer from 1568/SUNDRIES.£100.00

However, when I did the original application to switch a current account from cahoot (which had a notional £1 s/o set up for this transfer) they sent the forms back to me (after the closing date if you please) saying I hadn't completed them correctly. I had done, which was odd.

Anyway I returned them with a note saying that I only wanted to transfer if I got the £100 incentive.

I heard nothing more, so I cancelled the cahoot s/o after the 1st June payment so that account had no s/o or d/d on it.

Looks like I have got the incentive, a week ago.

My cahoot account is till open though.

    Very strange!

    EDIT: Received no letter either.

    is this offer still on?
Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.

They just issue a transfer instruction and say they'd quite like you to close the 'old' account yourself, they don't close anyone's. I "transferred from" an account I am very much still planning to use.

No, there was a limited number of 'places' which lasted about a day and a half, in April. However, they've recently been plugging an offer of £50 with only a time limit (about a month left). So you can do that, or you could hold out in case they do a 'special' one again.

do you think if you got the £100, you could apply again and get the £50?

I think it's worth a try as the terms don't clearly say no. They say only one £50 per person but that's just within this specific offer. They could argue that it's "in conjunction with" the £100 offer if it's the same account that would qualify. Or they could probably fall back on the implication that you get a bonus "for switching", and you can only really switch once. I'd still give it a go if it's convenient.
