Having just returned from a holiday in Scotland, I wanted to recommend the Highland Wildlife & Birdwatch Safaris. They do a full day safari which takes you to various habitats ranging from Mountain moorland to forest.
This operator follows a code of conduct to ensure that the wildlife isn't disturbed.
Last week we saw the elusive Scottish Crossbill and an otter.

Hi There
There's a couple offers I know of for entry into wildlife places at the mo so thought I'd share it with y'all !
In the highlands near Kingussie we have a brilliant wildlife centre. I went there lst year and had a great time. Their site can be found at http://www.highlandwildlifepark.org
To get a 2 for 1 admission voucher for here check out this link http://www.couponuk.com
You'll need to register but it just takes a few minutes and there are lots of savings vouchers for lots of places to visit and to eat leaving you a few more pennies in your pocket!
Heading further south, the Blair Drummond Safari park can be found near Stirling. I haven't checked this one out yet but plan to do so this July. There site has a voucher for FREE admission for 1 child, saving you £5! Check it out at http://www.safari-park.co.uk

The Strathspey Steam Railway runs between Aviemore and Broomhill.
If you enjoyed watching the BBC drama Monarch of the Glen, Broomhill station was the location for 'Glenbogle' and some of the Glenbogle signs are still in place.10 Dec 2007 - Led Zeppelin - I was there. :j :cool2: I wear my 50 (gold/red/white) blood donations pin badge with pride. Mr & Mrs Nile will be in the Aviemore/Inverness area during the last week in April. If you see us (at the Chanonry Point water's edge) when we're watching and listening to the dolphins :j :j , say hello. If you'll be in the area and fancy meeting up for a chat, we could arrange a mini meeting.10 Dec 2007 - Led Zeppelin - I was there. :j :cool2: I wear my 50 (gold/red/white) blood donations pin badge with pride.
