    Metre for a unit of distance (centimetre, kilometre, etc...), and meter for a device that measures (amp meter, voltmeter, water meter, etc..

    No need to apologise. It is more amusing when someone has a good rant going with a mistake like that in a key word for the argument.

    But just for the moment, why should Mrs Shadow and I pay the same as you and your 5 or 7 for our water? That is not the kind of equality I approve of!
