I have a car under the motability scheme which is paid for by my high rate mobility (I do not receive it - it is paid directly to them) and out of the other benefits they are split down like this:
Child Tax Credit - £212
Housing benefit - £460
Incapacity benefit - £388
Income Support - £86
DLA Mid Rate Care - £188
Carers Allowance - £212
Child benefit - £80
The Child Benefit and the CHild tax credit and carers allowance is all apid to my wife who is my full time carer and this is the complete household budget.
I would really appreciate some feedback on this please.0 -

Hi robbond55 and thank you for your message

Hi Mitziw and thank you for your message
You just need to put in your income and expenditure. Any bills paid by your partner, you can just put in a comment to say he pays.
If you pay a share, then put in the amount you pay and put a comment to say that this is your share.
Have you actually received a county court claim form, (blue and white form with a county court stamp on it) or are they asking for a budget from you, and threatening court action?
If it is only the budget they require and you would like help filling it in , you can call for an appointment on 0800 138 1111 to speak to one of our counsellors. They will also advise on options available to deal with your situation.
Regards

If there is no surplus left in your budget after paying all your share of the priorities, then you could offer £1 as a token payment. You cannot give them money you do not have, as this could mean you could fall behind with other priority bills.
Again, if you require further assistance, you can call our helpline to speak to a counsellor.

The Judge will decide whether to accept it based on your circumstances and your budget. If you have no excessive spending in your budget and there is nothing left after paying your bills, then he may consider the £1 token payment.I am a CCCS Debt Counsellor and have specific permission from Martin to post on these boards to try and help those in debt.
