Cornflakes, but they have to be Kelloggs. No others compare.

I also enjoy Sainsbury's basic's Fruit & Fibre, really good value, but not sure how it compares taste wise to Kelloggs own as I've never tried that to my knowledge.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

Cinnamon Crunch or Cinnamon Grahams or whatever they've changed their name to this time...
  • Nestle variety packs have currently got 25p off NSS coupons on the back of each box which means you get £2 worth of coupons back when the pack cost less than that.

Having said that, I cannot psyche myself up to doing a shop at Mr T just to "spend" them....

Jordans Museli or Country Crisp... more expensive than most cereal, but I tend to buy lots when they're on offer. I have the Country Crisp with natural yoghurt and rhubarb... lovely!
    TOP MONEYSAVING TIP

Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!

Make my own Granola. A mix of 8 cups oats, 2-4 cups mixed nuts and seeds (whatever you like and how crunchy you like it), 2 teaspoons cinnamon, 2 tablespoons runny honey (or can use maple syrup) and 2 tablespoons oil (sunflower or vegetable) and 2 tablespoons hot water.

Put dry ingredients in a large bowl. Put honey, oil and hot water in another bowl and whisk together. Pour over dry ingredients and mix together. Spread out on baking tray and bake in medium oven for 30-40 mins turning over once or twice til brown. Cook til as well done as you like. Allow to cool then put into plastic box with lid.

A bit like those oat clusters i.e. crunchy muesli. NB Don't put dried fruit in the mix before cooking as dries it out even more and can even burn.

Keeps for weeks. We add raisins, choped dried apricots, prunes or cranberries, chopped banana or apple, greek yog, fruit compote, whatever you're in the mood for in the morning.

Special K Sustain :) Never really eaten cereal until recently and then I started eating All-bran but that gets a bit bland so last week I tried this and I love it!

Special K Sustain :) bland so last week QUOTE]

eeurgh!! I tried this for the first time yesterday and think it's horrid - a bit too sweet for me - would you like my box, blackmidnight? :D I like the yoghourty Special K though :)
Usually have porridge (Jordans, I think, brought out a gorgeous one with cinnamon & apples in it last year but can't find it any more. Still, I can always add those ingedients myself) and I let it firm up then put in a pool of cold milk; weetabix with rice milk dribbled on so cereal still crunchy - yum; I like cornflakes in the summer with ice cold milk and topped with either peaches or nectarines and muesli with lots of almonds and extra raisins :)

I like Jordansd Muesli too and have been getting from 99ps sotres- bargain as its 3.25 in waitrose.

Also like the M&S unsweetened bran muesli, like muesli but includes all bran in

Really like grape nuts as well :)

If I cant get those I go for a fruit & fibre, waitroses own is the best one Ive found not as sweet as the others but rammed with fruit unlike some other supermarket brand that skimp on it and are predominantly flakes.
 Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.
Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind
    This Ive come to know...
So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast
