No I've not started a diary - can't seem to find a logical starting point!
As fast as I start to get an SOA together something changes and I have to start again.
It's totally exhausting.0 -
Hi Spudley  hows the diet going?
Hey Booky, I know what you mean, but I think the more you put into it the more you will get out of it thats not to say you aint putting enough in. But it is very daunting. Have you started a diary yet? That way people can see what you are doing, what you arent doing, suggest how could do things differently. Hang on in there
Hi Lensip :hello:
So far so good. I havent had any chewable food since lunch on Thursday, but I'm not hungry, and havent been tempted to cheat at all
Booky, keep at it hun. You've had a bad few weeks, what with your leaky overflow, then the car. I agree with the others, maybe think about starting a diaryIs it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

Ok, we've just seen the doctor and we're (i'm) going to persevere with breast feeding but do top-up feeds with formula afterwards. Hopefully i can in home today and be followed up by community midwives at home in a couple of days to see if Evie has gained any weight. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Morning all
I agree with Snags Bookie, it wasn't until I had done an SOA on here and got that right that I could move forward. If you're outgoings are more than your incomings and you don't even realise (ours were by nearly a £1000 a month !) then you're piddling in the wind as they say!No longer using this account for new posts from 20130 -

Is there a breastfeeding counsellor in your area maybe, that could come round and advise/ support you?
Cos I was advised NOT to combine the two, cos its easier for babies to take milk from the bottle and therefore they will stop taking the breast.
I used to spend all day feeding DS, till i discovered he wasnt latched on properly, and when he was, the difference was amazing:cool:
Also......if you are stressed or worried, it can hinder your production, you need to just try and relax and not worry about it so much:grouphug::heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -
Finally caught up with all your news.
Catt-really hope it all clicks into place for you, my SIL spent a week in hospital learning how to breastfeed- and now waps the paps out all the time. He is two years old now and another on the way, so i think he will be a bit jealous when baby has mummy's boobs to his/herself.
Top up feeds are a good way to go, and just relaxing ...but a bit difficult when you are worried or have a new born. xBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
@ bookie - I agree with everyone else, I think a diary would really help. That way, you can look back on it and identify areas that need working on. Also, when you're feeling really low, you can look over the good things you've done and all the nice comments people have left you.
Don't worry about not having a clear starting point, just jump straight in. Put a little bit of background on yourself and then just move forward. Tbh, I don't think my diary even says how I ended up in debt, mainly because at the time I started it, I wasn't sure myself. When I asked Lloyds for a list of charges on my c/c, they sent me my statements for that card and it was quite a shock to see all the rubbish I bought. Most of it was train tickets to London and back, it turned out.

Morning.
Catt, good news that are letting you both home.
Sammy, what a lovely holiday :rotfl:
BR, happy birthday :bdaycake:
Bookie, I've had one of your mornings
I was supposed to be having the gas meter at work replaced. I was there before 8am, just got off the phone now with National Grid, the engineers didn't have the right bloke available....so they are going to do it tomorrow, good of them to tell me
My Wednesday am regulars will be most impressed when the gas gets turned off.
Bookie, is it a home SOA you are struggling with, maybe just doing it as things stand now and adjusting it as time goes on would help. At least you would know how much you need each month to run the house. Have you seen BB's diary, her income is flexible (just like us self employed)Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0
