Lots of chicken pox about at the moment Shaun - hope it isn't though.

Been for a swim between working and teaching so taught with gritty eyes !!!

.......... and managed a NSD today as took yogurt and cereal stuff for lunch.

ooh, chickenpox..........I'm glad that we have got that one out of the way - lots of fluid, calamine and some calpol will see you through.....oh and brandy - essential........for the poor parents

DD has come home with a new challenge - a trip to China........in October.......at a cost of £1200.

She is currently brainstorming ways of getting to do it - it will be a test of how much she wants this.........

Hypno is it with the school? If so when my school did big charity trips to places like that they helped organise fundraising events as all the kids raised money and having the schools name as support helped as people knew it was official etc. If it is with the school could she suggest that to them? Also uniforms help if walking around with collection boxes etc...

There are only 6 of them going........she is currently putting together her "letter of application".........with her ideas for such things.....

My school only did 12 kids on their charity trips and they helped them with fundraising so its definitely worth asking about, especially as there will probably be a teacher who will want to raise funds aswell....

Could be Shaun, I vividly remember pink blotches when I was little before the spots/sores came. DD1 were all over her scalp I thought she had been in the wars or something and SS would be after us before we realised :rotfl:(she was a right little miss bump when younger and it was late when I noticed).

Ref elvin it could be two weeks before he gets it. Thought DD2 was clear for a while but no .

Stock up on the bi card (for the bath), calpol and brandy

The moneysaving stuff certainly has rubbed off on DD - she is talking about ebaying stuff from her room to raise the money........could this also help with the much needed decluttering :D
