KP - glad you are on the mend!

ginga - I have been mystery shopping for about 7 years now, so sometimes I think I get plenty, and some big assignments because I have been reliable over the years. But then at times there seems to be little work about - at the beginning of this year, I seemed to get very few jobs.

I always make sure I complete my assignments on time, and take my share of the crappy jobs that no one wants - also I have made it clear that if they get cancellations, they can always ring, and if I CAN fit it in that day, I will - I get a few lunchtime sandwich ones this way!

There is a very good mystery shop thread on the "up your income" board on MSE - they will give you all the ins and outs and will also tip you off when job batches are released for certain companies.

The main thing, though, is to check regularly - jobs disappear quickly, especially the plum jobs, so check every day, a couple of times a day, and you will soon hit lucky!

I am with 5 companies, and regularly get work from 3. The fourth one is quite few and far between, and the fifth I just got bored with so don't log in :rotfl:

It's Friday :j It seems to have been a long time arriving, but it is finally here!

10p only on the scratchcard today - but I will try and do a dooyoo review in my lunchtime for the MSE pennies......Must also look at finding a matched bet as I got a free £5 bet through the post yesterday.

Have a good day, everyone x

    Mornin' hypno

I've just done my (Virgin) scratchcard also. I have noticed under the total it has a "bonus" of 50p. Do you know what this is? I have never seen it before  Is it a bonus for logging in? The 50p for logging in used to go onto my total ???

yup, the bonus for logging in on a Friday used to go into your cash balance, now it goes into a bonus, that you can't withdraw and can only play through if you play through your real cash bonus.

So it is about as much use as a chocolate teapot, and another of the little ways that these companies are closing the loopholes.

Still, take the 10p real cash while it is still there - I fear that these scratchies may not be about for too much longer so it is a case of make the most of them!!

I've had a good week (for me )for MSing too eight this week including lunch out today. A nice mix too banks, bookies, music shops, phones and nice sandwich shops. The phone one was a bit dangerous though as I've now fallen in love with the new Blackberry-eeek.

I don't have anything with shipleys - I do feel that there will be a lot more of this happening.......a far cry from 12 months ago when we were doing free bingo left right and centre and making a nice amount of money!!

Ah well, there will be more in the future, I'm sure, by which time we will all be debt free so will be able to take our "free" money and do something nice with it rather than throwing it at the debt!!
