Did you sell the TT ticket Hypno? I am having difficulty keeping up at the minute!

Yes, I sold it on ebay - didn't get the full price for it, but I got the majority of it back so I am quite happy with that - it gives me enough to pay for my parking on the day and our food as well, so that is all money I don't have to find on Saturday!

I have just done a P!inecone survey, so will get £3 into paypal in due course plus hopefully the product to test, and have picked up a decent mystery shop for a lunchtime next week.

    Nothing else to report!

My parents drive me mad on CT banding... They live in a terraced house but 3 out of the 14 in the terrace are at a higher band and they are one of the higher ones but they refuse to put a claim in to get it back. In fact a couple of the lower banded terraced houses have a cellar too but my parents doesn't - otherwise they are identical/mirror images for the entire row! It even looks like 1 house has been already been rebanded as the date for that one being assesed is completely different to all the others! It'd be £1000s literally as the overcharge would be backdated to mid 90's I think... Arghhhhhh! And they claim to be skint since they are both retired now... :wall: Parents!!

Dont remind me that magic word parents / brick wall, could u not try on there behalf xx

Banking hasn't thrown up anything unexpected, but no surprise money in my account - ah well, never mind!

Morning! Not too bad on the sleepiness - kept windows open till really late, and just used the duvet cover, as opposed to the duvet itself, wasn't bad (and I was shattered! :) ) Caffeine was still very welcome tho. And I have a slight lurgy :( don't want a lurgy, thank you!

Have just done a complicated fandango between mystery shopping and Tesco orders so if I walk to the mystery shop I can get a Tesco delivery - and use the coupons that are about to expire. Cheap delivery means its that slot between 9-11pm tonight, but since I was able to book it this morning, I suspect that means it'll be much nearer 9pm than 11pm. Hope so, anyway! And I got a £5 discount voucher from here, which more than paid the delivery charge.

On the heat at night front (predicted 91 degrees today ) may I remind you of this tip? Open any loft hatches you have to allow the heat to escape. Just as this is inadvisable during cold weather when you want to keep the heat in, it works to cool the house down in summer (especially upstairs)
