surfbabe that sounds awful! I bet you are all looking forward to the end of term!

As for washing overnight.......my experience is
    • a big pigeon always does a big poo on some of it
    • it gets full of tiny weeny spiders
    • it is an invitation to the Gods for it to rain heavily instead of any forecast dryness.....
So the tumble drier it was.....:o

Yikes Surfbabe sorry to hear that. Bet you'll be glad when he's home.
    Happy new month to all.
Day off today so getting my MS's out the way early (not much choice as one is a breakfast one-free food Mmmmm) then back to crack on.
Full of comparative energy at the moment as my medication has kicked in and suddenly I feel human again (darn under-active thyroid) so have plans for lots of bits to do today

More sunshine, but I am stuck in a cubbyhole of an office.......bah!!

BUT...As we are now in the first half of the month again, I can start transferring money to OH Egg loan.....so £300 has been transferred from the debt pot to the loan, bringing the total outstanding down to £2298.60.....hope to somehow have that down below £2000 in the next couple of weeks.

Unsecured debt therefore currently standing at £16575.32 with the intention of having it paid off by 12th December so I can join in the MFiT challenge that starts on that date :o

    Hellooo Hypno!

I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever that you can clear the rest of the unsecured by December, and I am looking forward to seeing you over on MFW for the MFiT challenge!

Can I ask a quick MS question - do you use Gapbusters? If so, what are you experiences of them? I am dipping my toe in the MS water, but have no idea re. registering as self-employed or suchlike, so I wanted to start off slowly!

Totally sympathise with you regarding the cubby hole office, I feel like I am sat in a greenhouse :o x

Wow .... that really is amazing, Hypno, that you're looking at figures like that. And of course you've got the monthly repayments anyway in the standard repayments, that adds up. But your overpayments add up even more!

Just catching up on MSE as haven't been online all weekend :o Had friends over all day on Saturday and out in the garden yesterday. Not very MSE as we bought some new bits for the garden including a parasol yesterday but we shopped around and used a money off voucher in the end that OH rescued from recycling so all is not lost  and it was a lovely weekend. Did fit in a Mystery shop yesterday too so a little bit of money making!

Sounds like all that cleaning and sorting is going really well, I'm going to try and work on my 'cleaning plan' this afternoon and will send you a copy when I have. I totally agree with what you say about if the house is better you feel more comfortable about life etc etc and you certainly just can't isolate one part of life that easily!! Mine hasn't really been tidied, apart from the kitchen, but we haven't really made anything else messy so that's all good :T:T

Hopefully by December OH will have a job and I'll be in a slightly better one so think we might be joining the MFiT too, that leaves us 6 months to get jobs sorted and then hopefully some emergency savings built up.

Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine and not working too hard

ATB, I have not used gapbusters, I'm afraid, so can't help on that one - there is a m/s thread on the "up your income" board, and I expect they will be able to give you the info you need! Good luck - it all adds up nicely!!
