Oh yes, I enjoyed [STRIKE] them[/STRIKE] it :D

In fact, I have enjoyed this whole weekend - just doing "normal" stuff - I've not put any pressure on myself, but as a result seem to have done more than I would have done on a usual weekend! I've still gone and done extra work and done a fair bit of MSE "stuff", but have also got lots of other stuff done as well without panic or stress.

I didn't have to travel to a ski race - we gave it a miss this weekend - so that helps, but even so, I have still got further than I expected.

I just hope it is not a "blip" and that I can build on my progress of this last week.......

If I feel better about the house, and feel more comfortable about "life" then work will hopefully benefit, as I can focus more, and won't be so tired/stressed/emotional meaning I will be more productive, and therefore have more earning capabilities for the future.

So, you see, all this housework is still DFW related.........! You just can't isolate one part of life that easily, can you?!

Hope everyone else is well today!

sorry walshy - that one was entered about two months ago -- found the winners notification in the two weeks of e-mail -- had i known you wanted a tree would have had it sent to you instead!!!

savingmore - I don't buy biscuits, cake or chocolate as part of my weekly shop, because it will be gone before I have unpacked anything else! It has been known to disappear before even leaving the supermarket car park :o

Tomorrow is June - a new month! That means a loan payment coming out - it used to mean two loan payments coming out but now my bigger egg loan is gone, there is just one payment made on 1st month....still, anything is good, and I can colour in 4 more squares in the morning.....

Also, it is the start of my keep-tabs-on-spending-stick-to-a-budget month.....I have joined the grocery challenge on old style, I have got my online tesco shop ordered, I have started a "spending diary" on MSE to confess all spending, and I have committed to 10 NSDs.....

If I get to the end of the month and have succeeded, I will be rewarding myself with a trip to the hairdresser.....it won't be toni & guy, but the "turn up and wait, and pay £10" place, but it will give me something to aim for as the month goes on.....

And of course I aim to keep the housework vibe going.....and the washing/ironing under control!

    Morning Hypno
Good luck with the grocery budgeting. I know it's a path we both keep walking down and then get distracted...
I'm trying the spending diary too, something has got to be done !

Yes, DC - I really do have to get to grips with it otherwise I can see it getting further out of control.....and there is no point in earning an extra £50 a month in dooyoo money if I am wasting double or triple that!

Happy bank holiday shaun, and good luck with the spots, again!

Morning - Hypno - your washing would have been dry by lunchtime if you had put it out over night - i quite often do (haven;t got a tukble drier anyway !!!!

Off to work then going to see Mum then back to teaching. Have also to bolster DS up - he is very down - his flat mate attacked him yesterday, hit him in the face and broke his glasses. Luckily he only has a couple of weeks of term left and is coming home Wednesday for a few days anyway - he has not had a good experience of house sharing this year!

Anyway - enjoy the sun - what you can see of it !!
