me thinks the 25k figure is not that far away
wow wont that be another milestone
have to say hypno..when i get the chance to read post properly,,,not easy in this house
it comes to mind your like one of those bwoody jack hammers ....
endlessly going on ....bang bang bang (at the debt)
really dont know how you keep the determination going,,, i know your future targets the same way i know mine but some days it just gets so phewey !!!
but you never seem to let it get under your skin,,
insperationalWAS DEBT FREE & STILL BAAARRRRRKING
hello my name is shaun,,,and im not so addicted to farmville, still addicted to football:o:o
BAAAARRRRRRRRRRKING er insanely so0 -
I think, shaun, that I am terrified of taking my foot off the gas and letting the debt creep back up - and the only way of making sure that doesn't happen is just to keep going.
Although, I don't do as much as I could do - I could do more ebaying, carbooting, matched betting etc, so although it might seem as though I am doing as much as possible, there could be a lot more I could do if I had the energy/time/inclination.....etc!
I am hoping that I have got the balance right, now though - enough of the "extra" stuff to make a difference in the debt free date, but not so much that I don't have time for anything else.
My job takes up so much energy, that I need to make sure I am fit enough to do that job as it is my best chance of getting debt/mortgage free and staying that way and/or moving house and getting the children through uni etc.
I thnk I have had a bit of a "wake up call" recently, with just how run down I can get, and I cannot afford to get that way, either in terms of my job or in terms of my family, or my own wellbeing.....
That said.....I had best get myself moving - need to get the children skiing, and get myself working in the coffee shop :rolleyes:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hypno, as there is no longer a Sunday night confessional on the threads, I've popped in here to confess.
I ate Popeye's Easter Egg last night - entirely :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
It made me feel sick, but I didn't leave a crumb.
And I thought "serve him right for leaving it behind"0 -
Shaun's right, Hypno, you are inspirational. I'm glad you've had a wake up call, tho, on the getting run down biz. I know that whenever I've tried too hard during the day (i.e. had a really unbalanced day) I can never sleep - I need some physical activity too, and preferably some social contact. Neither of them are really an issue with you too much, but the principle is the same, the unbalancedness being so draining to us. (thats a word, unbalancedness, you know it is
)
I am more careful than I was - I've had my legs just fold underneath me a couple of times when I've been miles away from home, and thats not nice. Don't get to that state! So that means you have full permission to actually *enjoy* yourself at the coffee shop:o:o and Olive has full permission to enjoy the eating of a whole Easter egg (tho she might not have permission from Popeye, oops :rotfl:)

Olive, you are a saint in my book - you have resisted for far far longer than I would have done - it would not have made it past Easter Monday in this house. So for that I applaud you!!!
Stint at the coffee shop is done, but I have to go back and pick the children up in a bit. Have spent the last hour or so tidying the garden - the table & chairs have been cleaned, and the patio has been cleared, so I am hoping we can sit outside this evening for dinner
The washing machine seems fixed (fingers crossed) so I have just put the bedding in to wash.....and I will be a good girl and put it on the line, not in the tumble drier when it is done....
I love summer - I feel so much better and in control of things when the sun is shining! Isn't it amazing how much we are affected by the weather!
Everything seems so much better on a weekend like this - lets hope we get a long hot summer, and we can enjoy a few more happy days :cool:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Hows the ebay listing going Hypno?
Gave up with that last year when I was hacked into a couple of times so closed paypal as well.
Anyway not up to much= managed to get up straight yesterday so DD and i are sitting in the garden (well not at the moment obviously) - I'm reading, she is revising !!!!0 -

That's true and i feel the same about the weather as well. Lovely to see everyone smiling and just enjoying being out and about.
Chuffed the washing machine is sorted for you.:DBlackadder: Am I jumping the gun, Baldrick, or are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation?
Still lurking around with a hope of some salvation:cool:0 -
ebay listing - urm, I will save that for when the sun goes in......:o
Just pottering a bit at the mo. Amazingly I am managing to get quite a bit done without actually feeling as though I am slogging my guts out! If only every day was like this. Or even every weekend!
Off to drink my coffee in the garden right now though!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
