Been WHERE a year? Dooyoo? No, I've only been there since November.

You too, P....I'm back to work today, so dooyoo will have to wait until this evening. Was intending to do a 5k race tonight but I just don't have the energy so will give it a miss rather than push myself and make things worse.

50p on the scratch today :T and online banking shows that OH has been paid, so I will get the calculator out at lunchtime and work out exactly where we are for June. Although I got a good bonus, it has all gone on paying off the loan, so this month will be no different to any other in reality! I paid for Centerparcs this month too, the children are on race camp, and I did OH bike tax so generally an expensive month already!!

One step forwards, another sideways, even if not backwards!

oooh i am so with you on the end of the month thing!!!! I have to tax my car and pay a £600 repair bill. yoikes. luckily i've just renewed my a,s and u insurances with a lovely friend and he is giving me all the commission he will receive from the policies so thats half the bill paid!
think i'll be joining you in beans on toast mid month hypno!!! still as you say we are still going forwards and not back which is really great.

OH has bike MOT and Insurance due in June too....no chance of dividing them through different months either, because unlike car tax, you can only do bike tax on 12 months, instead of a choice between 6 and 12.....
