I haven't noticed any difference (dont use voice clips anyway) - I managed to chat for a while last night without being booted out. I would therefore recommend giving it a go Barjam-nothing to lose :-)

thanks for that, my kids have loads of funny emoticons which they have been saving when their mates send them do you know if they will lose them all or will they still be there

They should be saved im Messengers own folder.

its just that when i rebooted my pc a couple of months ago they lost all of them so i was thinking it would be the same i will try it let yous know for future ref:D

is there any way u could burn them onto a disk to be on the safe side?

not that i know of louiseuk25 i only know how to save them in the emoticon folder
