National Express...rude rude rude...

We've used them a lot over the last year,mainly on funfares.
Coaches are quite new now,drivers range from being really nice to downright rude.
One old boy told us we had to put a rutsack in the hold because we were 'quite full'.When it became obvious there were only 8 people getting on he told us it was health and safety.Did'nt use the terrorist line like others have though.My wife normally takes out the entire contents of the bag,and places the empty bag in the hold.
One time last year we thought we would try London Aberdeen for £1 each way on the overnight coach.Boy that was fun!.
Entire tribes of Africans trying to push their way on for Glasgow,then once into Scotland the coach kept stopping at Garages to fill up with water(a radiator leak no doubt)
Return trip was worse.Left Aberdeen around 7pm,no probs until Glasgow,when the coach filled up again,then they spent ages fiddling around with the coach before leaving.
This time there was a clunking from underneath.So next stop Hamilton,where the double deck coach was driven into the depot around 1am and backed over a pit with us all trapped on board.40 mins later off we went,but not far,as the driver announced at 2am we then had to abandon that coach and get on to one behind in a dark layby and transfer all baggage.Another great laugh.
We finally arrived into Victoria about 90 mins late with just enough time to catch our connection to Norwich,another 3 hour journey.
I wouldnt undertake this trip again without Michael Palin,but usually they are ok.
