Any feedback on them?
They seem to be about the cheapest but are they ok?
Thanks

I am changing my Breakdown cover this month and I looked at moneysupermarket.com. Rescuemycar were quoted as the cheapest but this includes a £40 excess which I believe has to be paid at the roadside. I'm looking at the Green Insurance Company - £4.70 a year more but no excess.0
-
I'm also looking at taking out rescue my car - cheapest I've found so far in at £58 for personal cover on any vehicle + 20% cashback through We Promise To cashback website.
Is the excess a standard feature of their cover?
Just been trawling through the T&C & key facts but couldn't see any reference to it.0 -

Autoaid, a fully comp breakdown cover for the policy holder and legal spouse for any vehicle,(within limits), including home start for £37.
This is a pay and claim service, but the feedback on the autoaid thread is very good.Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -
Yea i don't like the idea of paying and reclaiming, but thanksCath x

Hi BillPen / Nozza76
We market our £40 excess based product exclusively via Moneysupermarket.com (£30.25). This cover is available for vehicles aged new to 16 years old... which some customers find offers good value for older but reliable vehicles (you'll generally pay much more than £30.25 for vehicles over 5 years old)
All of our other products come without an excess and are available from £22.90 for roadside only cover, £28.75 nationwide cover and £37.95 for nationwide cover with home assistance.
nozza; The £58.00 policy provides nationwide cover, has nil excess, and as a 'personal' based product covers you as a driver or passenger of any car, bike or small van.
Hi Cath
Our cover is comparable to that offered by The AA and RAC; the difference being that we use a network of independant recover agents - whilst the big brands use a combination of their own fleet together with independant agents (so in theory, you could receive assistance from the same agent if you were covered with us as you would with the AA!)
If you have any questions that you'd like clearing up before commiting to anything, please give us a call on 0800 0199519
Many thanks
Sarah

Is it me or is there quite a bit of blatant advertising on here tonight???
Seems odd that there are several threads/ads for the same company.
Where is Crabbers when you need him??Genie

Yes RescueMyCar needs permission to post and arent allowed to advertise nor have a username as domain name, duly reported to abuse0

I think her generalisation about their cover being the same could be miss leading to some consumers as some of their plans offer broadly the same cover but people may buy one of their basic policies without realising any limitations0
