Hargreaves Lansdown are quite good imo haven't had any problems at all. They are probably not the cheapest though.

I remember last september this happening a couple times and it doesnt help to phone up when I tried anyway. You cant deal realtime but if you stick the details on a list they'll let you know later what price it was sold or bought for :laugh:

high volume can be a sign of trend reversal. I dont know if this is overall high volume or just high public demand. The tail end of a suckers rally I would expect to draw the widest audience participation
