selftrade.......grrrrrrrrr

Having technical problems again, unable to access account most of the day, now can access but doesnt show most securities. What a joke.

    I managed to trade,but slow at times.TDWaterhouse and iii also struggled today,think theyre all the same on turbulent days

    yeah i had problems today as well with selftrade, mind you hoodless brennan was working ok today

    glad i had both accounts
    Oh well we only live once ;-)

    down again, becoming beyond a joke, was a big issue with price feeds recently also, really time to consider shifting everything over to h-l or some other.

    I've been caught out by Self Trade today too, 'service alert' on home page.
    Only have ST account, if its happening to more than one online trader assume it quite universal. Still AAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGG

    I've seen reports that Barclays' dealing website is so slow as to be unusable this morning as well.

    Do they all use the same IT firm?

    Assume they must do, or use the same infrastructure.

    Hoodless's homepage has an alert that says they are experiencing a huge upturn in trading activity and new accounts being opened, i think its fair to say most of the main online brokers will be going thru similar, the problem could be there IT infrastructure isn't designed for the numbers of people now using them.

    I'm consider to open a TDW account, but also came across the users posting similar experience, but at least it is slow not completely not tradeable.
