PAYG New Mobile Required
Don't know much about mobiles, so hope someone can help.
I have a Siemens Orange Mobile Phone that is about 6 years old.
I would like a new phone, but want to keep my number. I only use the phone a couple of times a month so definately want to stay as PAYG.
Don't want to spend much money and don't text much.
Can anyone recommend anything?

If you go to Car Phone Warehouse their phones are unlocked. This way you can just put your old sim into the phone and away you go and you'll also get another sim with whichever network.
Personally I'd recommend a Nokia but each to their own and as you're familiar with Siemens you may want to stick with them. Candy bar phones tend to be more robust than flip or slide phones.0 -
I'm with Orange on PAYG.I have found a new phone with CW that will be £10 cheaper with 02.
It appears I can keep my old number as well just need a PAC code.
So please confirm I can change networks and still keep my old number0 -
Yes, you can change networks as many times as you want. Takes 2 working days usually. Request the Port Authorisation Code from Orange and give this to O2 to keep your number. Your original number on Orange will replace the new O2 number.0
