Sans - just a thought I shoved an email around at work and was besieged with padded envelopes.

Worked like a charm everyone was trying to get rid of them but didn't want to bin them.

    :)

Thanks Fayjmck. I work in a large office so I'd be too embarrased to e-mail round. :o I already take 99% of the deliveries for my department (all addresses to me anyway) so I normally keep any useful boxes/envelopes anyway.

The small built in wardrobe in the master bedroom has already got all my stuff and is filled with bags of used wrapping paper, a remainder of a roll of brown paper, couple of rolls of wrapping paper, different sizes of selotape, boxes for packaging Ebay stuff and random sized envelopes, bubble wrap and cardboard for envelopes that I don't want bent in the post. Elsewhere I have sticky lables, post it notes and stamps etc. :o

Oh and not to forget a few random boxes by my feet, lot so 'air' packs and bubble wrap at work (all mines as it's just used stuff).

I had better get on with my work or I'll be up until the early hours doing it. Oh why is MSE and Ebay so distracting.

Im terrible Millyscarlett, no idea why I have debt......

It is a nice stereo though, CD and ipod doodah (not that I have an ipod!) was reduced to £39.99 which was cheaper than the rest of bog standard CD stereos....me naughty :D

Have you had any luck getting hold of your consultant?

Nope, nothing from the hospital....good old RUH eh?!
So much for an urgent referral:rolleyes: I was up there last week for DD1s orthodontic appt, so asked Gastro dept if any joy - they had no idea, gave me a number to ring to make an appointment. So i get home and ring, but they wont give an appointment unless you have the letter from hosp with reference number:mad::mad:
Honestly - itr's no thanks to them that I'm feeling ok.

Got GP appt on Friday tho - just to check my steroids-taking is going ok...so will ask him to chase up hospital if I've not heard by then.

Whereabouts are you round here by the way?!:D

(I'd love an ipod thingy for the car - bargain! But just happy with radio/cd at the mo!)
I really need to sort out a new signature!
  • I have:

    Placed a matched bet.
    Done my daily scratch.
Hung my washing on the line rather than put it in the dryer.

Not much compared to some, but I'm feeling quite pleased with myself anyway.

    Hello!

BOO for card frauds and WOOHOO for weddings!!

I will try to catch up on not done stuff from my weekend list. It might be difficult as Heroes is on this evening :o. Was my first day back at work after week off and it was looooovely. Nobody was climbing on me when I was having my tea and no banging on the toilet door while visiting the ladies. Bliss!

    Anyway here is my list

    - Stuff that didn't get done during weekend
    - Scratchies
    - Curly - 1 ct, no wins
    - Cash back bingo
    - Took fruit for snack and hm sandwich to work
    - LSD only bought posh coffee and chocolate bar this morning to celebrate return to work
    - Have had huuuuge bolognese sauce in SC all day and it smells delish. Just need to cook some rice and it should keep me fed most of the week. And was able to put all the sadish veggies in there, only carrots to go now
    - Browse web to find a bootcamp for 4 year old
    - Done paid dog walking
    - Made a contact with another mum to get our girls to play together - ultimate motivation from my side is to get some kind of child minding swap going on :o

I thought I would be clever and wash my jacket myself instead of taking it to the laundrette - its a north face duck down (ebay and quidco so a bargain :)) Slight problem with washing my down jacket - didnt read the bit that said lightly tumble dry on low - dont have a tumble drier - so had to ask a lovely chum if she would do it for me - she was laughing at my very flat duvet jacket...........poor jacket it looks like someone has robbed it of its feathers ..........

Twinks hob nob mix works if you do a double batch - bake some and put the remaining raw mix in the fridge :) that is so cool :) (I know you probably all know this already but I found it out tonight when DS tried it)

I wonder if you can make home made herbal teas (not just mint etc but other ones...off for a bit of reading - xx)
