You can have one of each type of paypal account, so one basic /personal and one premier and a business one (you don't need a business one though). However, you can have 8 email addresses and therefore 8 ebay accounts attached to each paypal account.
Therefore you can easily operate with one premier account use it to buy and sell using different ebay accounts (I prefer to keep buying and selling seperately on ebay).
You can have as many ebay accounts as you like as long as they don't interact with each other , shill bid for instance.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. i am learning the benefits of keeping buying n selling seperate, one is to avoid irate sellers or shops which throw anything at u if u mark them down on feedback (valid reason of course) or get on at u 4 sellin stuff cheaper than them.SIMPLES!0 -
Okay, now I am very confused.

Just had a look at the personal account, and there is a payment for £3.83
Paypal have took 33p
That's normal rate
This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.

I wonder if they are calling the premier a personal account, they did have an oddity a while ago where the old names i knew them by seemed to change. Fay is better at paypal than me so maybe ask her?
If you are already paying a fee then you have an upgraded account, it's only the (shall we call it) basic account that does not attract a paypal fee.

You need just a premier account not a business account. Once you have agreed to upgrade the payment will be accepted automatically, but you will then pay fees on every transaction via paypal in future.Unfortunately there is no way round this.
If you don't upgrade the payment will be returned to the buyer after 30 days, but obviously that will just seriously upset your buyer!
Sorry soolin, I don't quite understand this. I logged into Paypal, the left hand side says "Upgrade Account", when I click on this it says
"Upgrade your existing account to a Business account"
so I presume the account has been upgraded as the other payments I received within the past year have had some fees taken out from the total payment (approx 3.4% + 20p). 0 -
If they want you to upgrade to a business account then it sounds like they are glitchy again. If the message persists I might be tempted to suggest you give them a call and ask them what is going onI’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
