You’ve got your Vanquis card, do no get any more sub-prime cards.

In a year or 18 months time, provided you did not have any problems with Vanquis, apply for a main-stream card. Presuming you’ve got that one, close Vanquis. Run that main-steam card well, and a year later get another main-stream card.

Do not aim for a quickly assembled deck of Mickey Mouse cards (store or mail order cards). Anything more than the three cards you have at present, will only pull your potential credit score down. It will give the impression you apply indiscriminate for any form of credit going.

There is no such thing as a quick fix to improve your credit score. It is quality, not quantity, that counts.
