Do you need another card?
It's not a game is it. How many cards do you have - 5 ooooh I must get 6!0 -
As per previous poster says, don't go gettin into debt just because you can!
1 Card is enough to build a credit history if thats what your trying to do.
And your best leaving it 6 months is the answer to your question :rolleyes:0 -
yes cos its so much of a game that i'm looking for peoples PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.
Main reason is because i'm lookin to really boost my credit rating in the next 3-5 years so that i may actually have a chance at getting a mortgage some time.
Is there any harm in giving a worthwhile response as opposed to something likejonesMUFCforever wrote: »Do you need another card?

If it was a game as opposed to just pure insulting of the reason behind the ACTUAL QUESTION then you'd understand what i'm asking about.
But by the looks of your response you actually didnt understand the question.
I wouldnt mind a helpful response if thats not too hard to ask for?0 -

i know not to get in too deep and tbh i'm not even really gonna use the card for anything other than processing payments that would other wise come off my debit card.
things like my contract and littlewoods payments for example.
and then i have a DD in place to pay the full amount0 -

I've been in and out of the sub-prime thread but have found it to bee a maze as of late and thought that to answer my question i find it easier posting a new thread0 -
Granted there is a lot of 'friendy banter' but we are all pretty much in same boat, post a question and it's guaranteed that you will get many constructive replies in addition to flirting etc :TI've been in and out of the sub-prime thread but have found it to bee a maze as of late and thought that to answer my question i find it easier posting a new threadNatwest gold..Limit £1750 bal £970..Vanquis Limit £3000 bal £0..Littlewoods..Limit £1200 bal 0..Additions direct..Limit £4900 bal £1356..Empire Limit £6200 bal £152..Jd williams..Limit £1100 bal £130..Simplybe..Limit £1500 bal 265,,Fashion world..Limit £1400 bal £145 Jacamo..Limit£125 bal 0

Apologies for that kilasuit; You are more than welcome to come over and ask your questions relating to the small deck of sub-prime cards that are available, do not be put off by the banter as it can get a little full on at times, however the ethos of the thread remains and people are encouraged to pop in and talk about sub prime borrowing - and chat about anything else too.I've been in and out of the sub-prime thread but have found it to bee a maze as of late and thought that to answer my question i find it easier posting a new thread
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.0 -
If the OP wants to boost their credit rating, surely a combination of one card, one mobile contract, and one littlewoods account, all run well, should do fine?
If they apply for more cards, their potential line of credit will be bigger, and so other lenders may reject on the grounds of overcommittal.0 -

To improve you credit rating you need to do the following - get on the electoral roll , pay all of your bills on time, adhere to any terms and conditions on any kind of credit agreement - easy really.
You can mess around with as many cards as you like but the more you apply and get refused the lower your credit score will become.0
