Post Office ISA - question about closing your account

Does anybody know how long it usually takes to close a Post Office ISA account? I have written to them 2 weeks ago, asking them to transfer the money to my nominated account and to close the account, but they have yet to do so. Moreover, they actually recently transfered money from my bank account to the ISA account on the 15th.
I am thinking maybe they have not received the letter, as I would think they would already have closed the account by now. Has anybody here ever closed an ISA account with the Post Office?

Thanks, Baldur. I have actually rung them this morning, and apparently the process had to be delayed because of my direct debit. They said the account would be closed by next week!0
