Hi,
I'm sure there must already be a thread on this but I can't find it.
I'm looking for a handset (O2 or preferably unlocked) but don't know where to start. Don't mind if it's new, used or reconditioned.
Any tips much appreciated.
Thanks

Google it! Find a handset you want, then put the model number in along with 'buy' and i am sure you will get loads of hitsKavanne

Or go for an O2 PAYG Handset, most of them from CPW are unlocked, all mine to date have and the Nokia 5800 from Dial a Phone are also unlocked.Cheers

Thanks for your replies.
I'm not looking for a specific handset (although I will be avoiding Nokias as they do my head in!). I'm just looking for a reasonable and not too expensive handset so there's no point in me selecting a model first. Of course I've tried Googling but there are so many retailers and so many handsets out there it's a bit overwhelming. It also seems quite expensive (£40-£50 plus), even on eBay - but maybe that's just the price of mobiles (have always got free ones before). Was hoping for some pointers from anyone who's been in the same situation so I can narrow it down a bit.
Like the tip about O2 payg, but are there any particular retailers out there who can be recommended?0 -
Go to the mobile phone category on ebay, then use the filters on the left to set your preferences, ie price, location features, manufacturers etc.
Maybe then go on buy it now only at the top, as you'll have a few thousand results for auctions. Expect something decent starting from £20ish inc postage.
For payg, look at usual retailers, cpw, phones4u etc, or go through quidco etc.0
