  • Exactly! It so much of a disorganised jumble of random stuff that I can't cope and just go into panic / stress mode and have to leave! So glad it's not just me!!

Hope all those who are coming are ready for tomorrow - if all arrive there will be 6 of us plus one DD and maybe Mr A :D

Mmmm, see, I don't go round the clothing section, I feel the same - I like organisation (says she who is soooo not organised...) I tend to stick to the homeware section, I love it - it has so many unique and puuuurty bits, but then, I am a bit of an addict... ;)

Have been a busy bee workwise today and have not done much else - getting there though - the (work)list is going down, but my own list is getting no shorter... hey ho, I'll get there in the end I suppose...

Toots, glad you're OK - you're an amazing woman and an inspiration to all - enjoy your couple of days off and take it easy - hope you can concoct something soon for your back... :A

Off out to Southend tomorrow at 7.30am as hubby has his bike theory test there (have to be there for 8.15am and need to park first)... see you some time tomorrow...:hello:

Sounds like your power supply is dead... Do you have a backup? If not, and you don't want to replace the power supply, you can get someone to take the disk out and copy that over to a new (second hand?) PC.

We could give it a try, but like Pigpen, have goldfish brain at mo and no real space to deal with it tonight. Will try tomorrow though.:D

Triker, you can usually get the hard drive transfered over if nothing else, fingers crossed (I think a new power supply cost me £10 the first time and last time I got a freecycled one) and hope you all had a nice walk. Don't know how you're managing to not flip your lid with all that going on ((hugs)) foryou and yours xx
Rach you sound really stressed out at the minute honey, hope things settle down for you soon x
nicki happy new bed, but now it's all been done and nice then you have to keep it that way :) I find mattress protectors (not the plasticy ones) are really good, my new one is doing much better with the memory foam topper on too.
Holly ((hugs)) for you and your sister
boddy, that is really brave of your DD, to visit someone so ill she only knows through an ex, it's such a hard thing to do watch someone slip away x
    lola fingers crossed
FFP hope it flies over for you all, a friend of mine has just come back and it doesn't seem like 2 minutes since he left. Most of the lads have managed to be in touch at least once a week which is better than Iraq has been.
Toots the one thing about radiotherapy that would do my head in is not being allowed near kids/babies, they are so much part of my daily life ((hugs)) As for DS2 thanks for asking, volcano seems to have become dormant now, dressing I just took off was clean :D
toochoosey, we're getting a Bailey Ranger GT60 620/6 lol if that makes no sense, http://www.overlandcaravans.co.uk/caravansdetails.asp?id=799 another one somewhere else. We're paying under £13k on the road and getting £8000 back for the caravan I paid £7000 for last year :D free holidays :D which is why I am cashing in on the caravan which will last us throughout the boys growing up (ours won't because of the bunk size) now instead of waiting.
mumoffour before giving up on it try www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk because we've fixed ours 5 times using that sites advice
TAG, hopefully the weekend will kill it off seperating the kids, hope she's better soon
poohbear, it seems to have come round ever so fast since you first mentioned it, hope it goes really well :)
hex that bread bin is fab! I've never seen anything like that before. Do they do those in other colours?

Oh, cream on your back, now this will sound mad. I used a plastic glove (latex tends to set my skin off) fastened with tape to a new, unused, clean, curved head toilet brush you use with the disposable pads from the £1 shop :o (same as the ducky ones but £1 shop copies) it worked a treat. Heck of a lot cheaper than that back bliss thing and does the same thing :D You could fasten a cloth, tissue, pad, sponge, flannel or anything on it they even have the small 'grabber' for the pads you can use. http://img.tradeindia.com/tradeleads/1723900.jpg same idea, different brand. They are also longer than the 'back bliss' expensive things.

Been up to finalise financial paperwork ready for the switch over and pay more up front so much less goes on finance, realised that between all the appointments/meetings next week we really won't have any time at all to do the change over (it can take up to 2 hours as they have to show us how to use everything and do loads more paperwork. So have arranged to collect on 6th of May instead. Not a problem as our next break isn't until 23rd of May I think it is. Good news is they said that I don't need to clean it, at all, as they will fully valet it before reselling it on :D of course I will do some but not going to gut it like I would if it was a private sale.

I've just got DS2 out of the bath, he was sticky icky and his wound is getting much better so thought a nice soak to settle him down as it did last night, we were hoping it would be ok for his friends swimming party tomorrow but unsure if we will manage to get a big enough waterproof patch for him. I've put him to bed with Savlon and a light cotton tshirt on in the hope getting some air at it will help now it's closed, he's been warned not to pick as if it's open tomorrow he's not going to the party!

Oooo talking about shops, where Boots is (have tried local chemist/doctors with no joy) that I need to go to tomorrow, there is a LAKELAND opened, now I have resisted going to the one closer to embb.....but I might have to go to that one. I've never been before :o I am also not a fan of TKMaxx, only go if there is something particular I want I have been told they have in (last time was mermaid pan 2 years ago and they had ran out)

Tonight, not a lot, some reading for my studying, dog out, empty DW, refill DW then sleep time I think x
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200

  • Hi there.

Happy to say Thursday's list now completely done and DSis now has somewhere to sleep.

Toots please may I have a Thursday star?

I'm off to read the rest of the thread now and then bed at a more reasonable hour than normal.

BTW I have done a little friday fling at the Triker household.

We DID go for our walk, well two actually, found one spot and it was just a big field so we found another public footpath and did a circular walk round that.

DD1 and DD2 enjoyed it although both of them go uber silly and loud whilst we're out!!Letting off steam I 'spose, you'd think we'd never been out the house before the way they carry on.

    Anyways flying wise

    DW X 1

    WM X 2

    Kitchen floor swept

    Rubbish binned

Bathroom bin and empty bottles flung

    Cushons Plumped

    LR hoovered

    Coffee table decluttered

    Kids stuff taken upstairs

    Table cleared a bit

    LR rubbish binned

Shoes removed from bathroom and LR and put on shoe rack

    Kitchen worktops wiped

TV downstairs NOT BEEN SWITCHED ON!!!!:T

Ooopsy spoke to soon, OH just put on as going to play game on Xbox.:D

Anyway cannot believe how fast this week flew by but will endeavour to get on and declutter and redistribute crapola this weekend.

Hope you are all well. xxxx

I'm doing my ironing... and I'm ironing my new sheets so I can have a hot bubblebath and then go to bed...once I've finished making it. I keep walking into my bedroom, looking at it and smiling :o:rotfl::rotfl: I've been putting this purchase off since before Ex and I broke up... so nearly 2 years which is why I'm also treating myself to ironed sheets :rotfl::rotfl:

Off I go to do the bottom sheet now...oh and some jeans and a top for tomorrow morning when I get up.
