    Morning all

It was foggy here to start with but the sun is trying to come out now. I've got two loads of washing on the line including my bedding.

I've done all the bedrooms today and I got out the summer duvet and packed away the winter one. DH isn't impressed. He thinks it needs to be about 90F before you put away the winter duvet......

All the bedrooms have been dusted and polished, mirrors cleaned and windows. All of upstairs vacuumed. I also dusted the living room and vacuumed right through downstairs.

Bad headache (think it's catarrh/sinusitus) and bad back today. My own fault for the back, I sat on the settee to watch Neighbours yesterday and I should know better. I have to stay more upright.

Anyway, off to catch up with the thread a bit more.

    Welcome to baby MrsMH :)

  • I'm reallly tired today and not in the mood for flying. Got to try tho, have visitors the next few days and one of them is quite rude and bound to tell me off for all the mess, so I really need to make sure it is clean and tidy before her visit. She's coming for lunch on Friday so have a while to get it done, but need to do as much as poss today! I also need to work out what I'm going to feed her. Ham or cheese sandwiches seems quite boring.

How about a taste of her own medicine if she's rude - what right has she got to tell you how to keep your home? people like that really annoy me, hope she doesn't annoy you too much Rose, don't let what she says get to you and live how YOU want to live - tidy and clean if you want to, not because you want to impress her... (sorry, hope I'm not preaching to you, but like you said, she is just rude.)

The funny thing is that she has no idea that she's doing it! She's just a bit thoughtless. DH can't stand her so I try to keep them apart. We went out for dinner once with her and her BF and DH didn't say a word for the whole evening. He just phased out of the whole thing. I think I will say something if she ticks me off this time, it's getting irritating! I only see her every few months.

I'm so not in the mood for flying. I will go and wash up again in a mo, just having a rest and doing computery type things.
