Haven't caught up with thread but I'm going to try and do some of the list before I start tea. I've got to go and pick up some stuff off freecycle later and go to the library.

Cleared out the pantry and have managed to fling a further 147 items on top of the 10 I removed from the airing cupboard last night. Baby cups, baby bottles, baby milk, past use by food, mountains of receipts and out of date coupons, plates, bowls, mugs, plastic tubs without lids, lids without tubs amongst lots of other things.

Am I the only person who would wash plates before they binned them? I bought some new (cheap) ones today and binned all the old cracked ones, but I had to wash them first.

With a newborn who just wats to feed all day i might not get two much done.

And there is no better excuse for it! Hold and feed that lovely baby as much as you want, and don't worry about the rest - you have years ahead in which to sort the house out :-)

not much done yet we were out this morning toddler dance group and we then went in the garden as it was so nice she has not had a sleep yet! so was leaving things till she was but that is lookin unlikely now washing on and I have a large and I do mean large heap of clean washing to sort and put away (had to stop my self buying a wash basket when we were out it was cheap but I do have 2 and I would only fill it and have more to put away at a time)

Hex, I do think that's a little odd, washing plates that are going in the bin. The bin is dirty, they are now dirty again.

    Personal list:
    Wash up – mon x1
    Write cards/letters to friends
    Sort out working tax credits
Empty and de-mould(if required) shoe cupboard
    Put in for prescription
    Find a dentist
    LIBRARY BOOKS!!!

Toots, how was your treatment today? I thought of you at 3:30 and wondered if your treatment was over for the day.

I've earmarked a handbag for a little girl I know, hope that counts as the thing in level 3. Need to dig it out from under the bed but am feeling pooped after all the hard work I've done today. I can't believe I've finished the list! It took all day but I've done it!

That's great Grateful, a wood burner will save you lots and lots of £ especially if you make friends with a tree surgeon or someone with a forest! I wish we could have one, DH could keep us easily supplied with wood. His parent heat their whole flat and all their water with a wood burner with a back boiler. However we live in a flat and do not have a chimney so I don't think a fire in here would be a good thing!

Embb, why do you have two stars? There is only one list up so far! I think I may have a sulk. Not fair, stamps feet.

  • Monday - Living pit - DONE

Just collect a very old table from my daughters,we were given it when we got married from one of the granny's.

Then we divorced and ex took table - He gave it to my daughter and now she has given it back to me.
It feels funny to the old (1930's )table back in our house.I have been sanding it in the sunshine. Its oak and very heavy.

Onwards - Going to try and clear the hall,
    carpet
    stairgate
    ironing board
Bath screen - on its way upstairs
    Armchair from freecycle
bags of books to be collected freecycle

    Millions of trainers
    Sink and taps!

Well has anyone else got anything that shouldnt be in the hall.
SPC £500 well will try very hard.

    GC £6.16/£150

    Evening everyone

Welcome to the new and returning fliers

I think you need a hug Piggers so I'll give you one!

Mudders - big hugs for your Dad

Greenbee - how did they demonstrate the not knowing?

Sexym - nice to have that feedback

Well. Found out today the powers that be say there's no more funding after the end of the monthish (depends how much time I have off). So I shall be on the hunt again. Trouble is I don't know if I want to do what I'm doing anymore. Decisions decisions... some vibes heading this way would be good if it's not too much trouble

Off to water the garden and then fly in the living room
