Its not some scam is it??? every mobile I have put up for sale has had some person from an African state trying to do me out of it.

Usual thing is sending a fake paypal receipt to your email box. Check your spam box.
Where are they asking you to post it to? & have they paid over the odds?
Dont send it out. Ask Ebay if they have a phone no for the bidder, most of the time the scammers use a "nicked" ebay ID.

Ohh, just recalled after seeing the other post. Check your email address on ebay. If you have typed it wrong you may have an email off paypal asking you to "confirm" a new address.

did the phone sell for a high amount? if so it could now just be a case of buyer remorse!

ebay have recently introduced loads of ridiculous rules, one being holding payment for 21 days for high value items or new buyers, though you should get an email satating it is being held in PayPal..

as long as you dont send the phone outside of the U.K (& always special delivery when you do!), you'll be covered with seller protection..for the most part! hope this helps..

Just to clarify a couple of points again. An echeque payment will still show in the sellers paypal account, the money though will not be included in the paypal balance.

A held payment will also show, but again will not be included in the balance.

If the buyer has made a payment via invoice to the seller then the sold page on the sellers ebay will show payment made, by going into the transaction you can even see where payment went as if paypal was used it will say 'payment made ny paypal to address xxxxx on the xxxxx'. You can click on that and actually see the payment in the paypal account.

Allowing for ebay being glitchy and on the information supplied by OP it would appear that no payment has been made unless buyer has sent a cheque.
