Hi

I think my m8s phone is water damaged as her baby has sucked it to death.

The tab has gone of on the battery but on this phone im not sure exactly where the tab is on the phone.

Can anyone point me in the right direction please as I don't wanna send her of to o2 on a wasted journey.

Thanks in advance.

It shows up liquid damage if you say drop it in water.

It is commonly a small dot inside which changes colour when it comes into contact with moisture. It makes it easy to tell if the phone has been water damaged or not thus invalidating any warranty or guarantee.

Oh I see - learn something new - sneaky lot these mobile people.

Since I didnt know what a water tab was, I am not going to be much help I think but I found some page on web which has this

"This is the system to check water damage. First open the batt cover and look for 3by3mm stiker. Its white color stiker, but but if its touched by water it becomes pink or red depending upon the model"

The C902 might have similar sort of thing under the battery.

there is one on the top of the battery on my SE k750, k800 & k810i.

the other one (on the k800/k810) is inside the battery compartment next to the prongs that connect to the battery. on the k750, its by the sim card holder

on a non-water damaged phone, they will be white. on a water damaged phone they will be red/pink

    Thanks for looking.

Unfortunately my m8 ain't very good with these sorts of things but from a picture I have seen I believe its just above the sim card holder but I just wanted to be sure.

I have the w910i and mines easily spotable on the left hand side of where the battery goes.

Yes I have one on my battery as well.

I did explain to her about it changing colour but she was having a hard time understanding it.
