car accident

just thought you guys might like to see some pics of my car accident on wednesday..

Accident at 18.10 on m5 motorway between J2 and J1 northbound. I was in the second lane, joined motorway at J2. Was getting up to speed and about to start cruise control, Other car was in the 3rd lane, I was 5 ft or so behind him.
He moved into 2nd lane, may have indicated at the same time, but def not before, anyway he went about 6 inches over the line, then looked over his shoulder, saw me and over reacted, swinging the car to the right, the car then swung wildly to the left coming into my lane. I hit his left rear I think, then crossed the first lane and hard shoulder, hitting the side wall, didn’t go over the flyover thank god (BIG drop).
The airbags went off, with the car then skidding backwards across all three lanes, eventually hitting the central reservation before coming to a halt sideways on the second and third lane
I switched off the engine, took off my seatbelt took the keys out. the door opened, I climbed out, got my coat of the back seat and went over to the hard shoulder

Injuries,
Fractured wrist and finger
Neck shoulders
Chest pains (from seatbelt I assume)
Broke my glasses when the airbag exploded in my face
Bump on head

pics in next post...

the rear damage is the damaged caused after hitting the wall, then skidding across.

I hope you switched the hazards on.

Glad to see you walked out safely.
Is the other driver OK ?
Did you have to phone for help yourself or did any one stop to help ?

 So pleased you're not too badly injured, ukbandit! I expect you're still feeling shaken up by the whole thing?

What happened to the person who caused the incident (I wouldn't call it an accident - sounds like careless driving on the other person's part:mad:). Hope he is OK, though............
