For LG phones, you can not simply unlock it with a code, while Three can do it at an extra cost.
You can take it to a local shop and someone can unlock it with a cable.Val

Hi friends,
I just completed a 1 year contract with 3 network and planned to stay with them again....so got a very good scheme and nokia 6280 mob........but i just want to know should i call up 3 customer service and request them to unlock my previous LG8130 mobile which i was using since the last 1 year......will they unlock that for free as i had read a thread in this forum that someone got the nokia 6680 unlocked for continuing another year with 3........please advice.....
