I want a Creative Zen Vision:M! I've got a 30Gb Creative Zen Xtra, had it for 2 years and only cost 180 pounds back then.. Sad thing is, it's full, so there's no point me upgrading to a 30 gig video player if i can't put anything else on it. I hope there's 60gb version coming sometime this year
An old Ipod for 70 pounds? I'd leave it, the battery won't last more than a year and is a pain to replace on the old models0 -

I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'm still sitting here waiting for the UPS man to collect yet another faulty ipod, I'm supposed to have a morning collection so will probably give up at about 1pm and go out anyway.
I'd never buy another one regardless of how cheap they are.
In answer to another question though on this thread my ipods from the refurb store seemed perfect when they arrived, no marks or other signs of ore use at all.

for those 'going for it' with this offer you can get a docking station on ebay for 6.99 + 3.00 p&p and a spare battery for less than a tenner (both non-apple)0

Does anyone know if you get a warranty on these refurbs ???? 90 days maybe ???
and what is the 'supposed' battery life for a 3rd gen ipod ????
They seem to have cables & software supplied which wasn't so last October
any info would be appreciated0 -

The battery can be replaced quite easily actually and as said, can be got from ebay for a tenner or so. See video : http://eshop.macsales.com/tech_center/index.cfm?page=Video/directory.html0 -
As far as I can tell, anything bought from the Apple refurb microsite is subject to the same 1 year warranty that you get with new products.0

All mine came with a standard Apple warranty, the one going back today (and it's the second time this ipod has had to go back) is 8 months old.

I have had a refurb 40 gig for 8 months it went back as the battery life wasn't great and they sent me a new unit customer service is great.
Spoke to Apple this morning to confirm what gen they are, all of them are 3rd gen so 4 buttons above the wheel.

Bought one of these last time this was on here (few months ago now) and have no problems at all. Looks amazing and is still working perfect. Think I'll grab another.‘It ain’t over 'til it's over’0

Have just ordered a 20Gb model for my daughter. It seems that you take the same chance with it failing as you do with any new item, and as it comes with a full guarantee it seems like a good buy.
The Customer Service sounds much better than a lot of other companies.0
