I've never been in to the one in our locality but reading this thread, perhaps I should!
Does anybody know if they do a frozen white fish fillet (either 500g or 1Kg bags)? Not cod or coley or anything like that but 'white fish for the use of' stuff, I think it is usually pollock or similar.
I used to buy this from Sains or Tesco for an occasional treat for my cats but they have both put the price up dramatically just lately (Sains from £1.26 to £1.94 a 500g bag, Tesco from £1.94 to £2.49 for a 750g bag  - large and unjustifiable price hikes IMO)
(how the supermarkets can justify these huge and sudden price increases, and on so many diverse things, is beyond me.....)0 -
Moonshine if you like to buy whitefish as a treat for your cats then try your local or larger petshop and see if they have the frozen mince, the AMP make is excellent and they do a packet which is 100% white fish for only about £1.00 and it is 500g, i usually buy this defrost a lump then grill for my girls they love it. Other than that i buy fresh mackerel or fish when it is reduced.0

Thanks for this thread, I've not used FF before, but have found that there is a store 5 mins away from work, so I'll pop in there this week!0

I think Farmfoods should give us a special #MSE discount for all the business we're putting their way.
They currently have Cadbury's Jaffa Cakes for about 49p a box, they're delicious!Happy New Year :beer:0 -
Trouble i always find with FF is they never seem to have good parking around them and you end up lugging your heaviny shopping for ages.....although i have several stores near me and one i have found does have a car park right outside...yipee
but it is a good drive away on the downside so have to make sure it is worth it lol.
