Anyone else use Farm Foods? I have recently started using them and I must say there are some bargains in there. Also the staff are about the best and most friendly you will find.
I am pleased I found them.

Farm Foods - are marvellous and they have some really good bargains. Recently I bought some short life Flora 500g for 39p locally and they sell Wiseman dairy 2L milk for £1.
Their toilet roll is excellent value and quality. Its quilted, 3 ply and you get 12 rolls for £2. Its much better than the named quilted brands.0 -
I do my weekly shop at Tesco but pop into Farm
Foods for toilet roll, kitchen towel and huge boxes of Walkers crisps which are really reasonable, they do a lot of brand stuff. as you say the staff are really nice too
Also get hubbys Pot Noodles for his work lunches. 4 for £2.00 :hello:

i agree. i did a small 'top up' shop at ff last week and spent £23. When I got home I checked out what I'd bought and compared it using my supermarket and the cheapest of the supermarkets brought the exact same shopping in for £33! And they give you free carrier bags which are excellent quality & can be re-used.0

I've started to go back to Farmfoods. They do seem to have a lot more variety now including brand names (cheaper). I got Colgate toothpaste for 87p yesterday, and I always get the pork steaks (1.99) and they are lovely. Broccoli £1 is great too.
They also sell a bag of chocs...it's like mis shapes for £1 and they are brill. Sometimes too many toffees for my liking in it, but other times soft centred ones and dairy milk ones. Crisps are a fab price too.

Also be aware that there are vouchuers in circulation if you spend £25 you get £2.50 off and £50 get £5 off. The local postie delivers them in my area.0

Yes I am a devotee too, I do my normal shop at Tesco or asda but usually buy milk from farmfoods (£1 for 2l), Nescafe coffee (£2.49 instead of over £4 in tesco although it is on offer for £3 in there at the moment), kinsgmill bread, 2 for £1.50, this always beats the supermarkets, crisps, ice creams, oatso simple which is 49p a pack as opposed to 2 for £3.00 in Tesco, fruit shoots are cheap too.
I think a lot of their frozen food is junk though but they do have some good offers on sometimes, I buy frozen rhubarb and apple for 50p a pack from there sometimes and use it to make crumbles etcAug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00 -
Where I live we have plenty of discount shops...Netto and Iceland at the bottom of the road, and Farmfoods a little bit further away.
I usually use Netto but today decided to check Farmfoods. I got Milk (2 litre for £1), Loo Roll (12 for £2), Hinz Beans (about 35p, which is very as they are normally 50p+) and Hovis bread 2 for £1.50 (1's in the freezer now).
I don't think I could do a full shop there but for stocking up on essentials it looks great! Now...need to mug the postman to get some of these vouchers! :money:Happy New Year :beer:0 -
I love Farmfoods.....
I get the milk as well, goodfellas pizzas for £1.50. 1kg chicken breasts for £3.95 and they are nice breasts, 2 loafs of hovis best of both for £1.50, cadburys gateau £1.00, cheesecake or lemon meringue £1.00, flake cones for £1.00-1.50.
Their cold meat is good value too as well as eggs.....you just have to keep an eye open to what they have in.0 -
